An Alumnus Donates Epidemic Prevention Materials to Help Prevent and Control Epidemic Situation of FTBU

On April 7th, 2020, Luo Shufeng, graduate of 2017 majoring in Environmental Design of Department of Art and Design, FTBU, took the initiative to contact his alma mater and donated a batch of anti-epidemic masks to show his concern and sympathy for the teaching staff who are fighting on the front line of the anti-epidemic campaign in his alma mater, and helped his alma mater win the war of the epidemic prevention and control.
 
When talking about donating the materials to his alma mater, Luo Shufeng said, “COVID-19 is merciless but human beings are affectionate. I am grateful for the cultivation of my alma mater on those days. The kindness that has been left in my mind will be unforgettable and beneficial all my life. In the current epidemic prevention and control, teachers and students of our university are bound to face great pressure of prevention and control. At this time, it is my duty and obligation to do some real help for my alma mater.”
 
Huang Bin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of FTBU, on behalf of our university, praised the generous and good will of Luo Shufeng, an outstanding alumnus of FTBU. At this special moment, he cared for his alma mater and helped it generously, which showed the invaluable friendship of its graduate working together in the same boat and forging ahead.

Luo Shufeng is now general manager of Quanzhou Tree Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. and founder of the image service brand “Tree’s Image Space”. The company is located in Quanzhou, Fujian, and mainly serves for the image production of various governmental departments and State-owned enterprises. The team independent work “My Motherland and I” (for Quanzhou Culture and Tourism Group) has been listed in the Learning Power APP, and won the 3rd award for its “Beauty of Quanzhou”—a video collection and exhibition activity for celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China, which was jointly sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Quanzhou Municipal Committee and the Website Information Office of the CPC Quanzhou Municipal Committee. His co-production of “The Marionette Makers” (USA) won the Genesis Student Film Scholarship jointly created by Genesis, CNN International and Great Big Story.
