The Final of the 8th “Internet +” College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of FTBU Successfully Held
It is the right time to win youth and forge a new era of dreams. On June 8th, 2022, the final of the 8th “Internet +” College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of FTBU was successfully held in the two-way video classroom of the library. Chen Qingyi, deputy secretary of the FTBU Party Committee and assistant president, heads of relevant departments and instructors of various participating projects attended the meeting.
At the competition site, each participating team made a presentation and display on the project features and innovation points, market analysis, business model, team operation, education guidance, financial analysis, etc. The judges' teachers give professional opinions on the project positioning, business model optimization and financial status adjustment. After the fierce competition, the projects “Printing Is More Than Paper—the Leader of Ultra-high Precision Printing” and “Noise Reduction in Knowledge—the Leader of Quality Innovation” won the gold awards of the master track of higher education; the project “Adding Hometown to the Flower Border” won the gold medal of the track “Youth Red Dream Building Journey”. The competition also awarded 4 silver awards, 6 bronze awards, 8 excellence awards for the main track; and 2 silver awards, 3 bronze awards and 4 excellence awards for the track “Youth Red Dream Building Journey”.
Since the competition was launched in November, our university has attached great importance to it, carefully organized and widely mobilized, held many special work promotion meetings and issued relevant incentive policies; second-level schools have conducted in-depth research, actively cooperated, integrated resources, and cultivated projects; all the teachers and students of the schools have actively participated, actively connected, and fully prepared. Up to now, our university has registered 2151 projects, and more than 8,000 students have participated in the competition, creating a good atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship, and stimulating their enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship. In the future, our university will implement the integration of innovation and entrepreneurship, education with practice, professional education, and the second classroom; adhere to promoting learning and teaching through competition; strengthen the deep integration of industry and education; and promote the innovation and entrepreneurship education of undergraduate to a new level.
