Recently, “Learning and Innovation Cup” National College Students’ Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation Competition in Fujian Province 2022, jointly organized by the Joint Meeting of National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers of Colleges and Universities and the China Tao Xingzhi Research Association, came to an end. Our students’ teams competed with 159 ones from 26 colleges and universities in Fujian, including Xiamen University and Fuzhou University, and won two first prizes on the main track of entrepreneurship integration. In the special competition track of entrepreneurial marketing, they won two third prizes. The result ranked in the forefront of similar colleges and universities, and our university has successfully won one of the two national competition places in the province.

The “Learning and Innovation Cup” National College Students’ Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation Competition is a list event of the national discipline competition, and it is also one of the most influential events in the national entrepreneurship category. Through simulation management, college students’ ability to combine practical operation with theoretical knowledge is enhanced, and their innovation and entrepreneurship thinking is expanded. Since the signing up for the competition, the contestants of our university have developed their ideas under the careful guidance of the instructor, worked hard to prepare for the competition, and went all out to lay a solid foundation for good results.

For a long time, our university has integrated innovation and entrepreneurship education into the whole process of its talent training. The results of this competition show the innovative consciousness and ability of our students, and also reflect the effectiveness of our university with its school-running concept of “consolidating the foundation, seeking innovation, green and diversity” and the school-running characteristics of its cultivating applied talents. In the future, our university will continue to adhere to the school motto of “Morality, Truth, Accumulation and Innovation”, strengthen students’ innovation and entrepreneurship education, promote learning and entrepreneurship through competition, and continuously improve the quality of applied talent training based on pragmatic professional foundation.
