Our Teachers and Students Win Great Achievements in the 13th Yuanye Cup International Competition for College Students
Recently, the results of the 13th Yuanye Cup College Students International Competition 2022 were announced. The students of School of Art and Design, FTBU, have stood out from more than 500 well-known universities at home and abroad, including Tongji University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University, Sydney University, and nearly 10,000 students and more than 4,000 groups of students’ works. They have won two third prizes and one honorary award, and their achievements rank among the top of similar universities in Fujian Province.

It is reported that Yuanye Cup, founded in 2010, is an international competition sponsored by the Organizing Committee of Yuanye Cup International Competition. It has attracted more than 20 countries and regions to participate. After 12 years of development, Yuanye Cup has become one of the international industry events with the largest number of participants, the most extensive participation and the greatest influence; it can promote professional exchanges among universities, regions and internationally, and help cultivate and select compound and innovative talents; and it has played a positive role in meeting the needs of industry development, promoting the continuous improvement of education level and pushing the employment and growth of students.
Our university has constantly strengthened its connotation construction, better implemented the principle of “promoting education, learning and reform through competition”, orderly organized college students to participate in professional competitions, making it an important carrier to deepen the connotation of its professional construction, further stimulate their enthusiasm for independent innovation and design, consolidate their professional knowledge and skills, introduce industry resources, promote the integration of industry and university, strengthen its practical teaching, and broaden their employment channels.
