shouLei Lianming, Secretary of Yongtai County Party Committee, and His Delegation Visit Our University for Investigation
On the morning of November 23rd, Lei Lianming, secretary of Yongtai County Party Committee, and his delegation went deep into our university to conduct research and guidance. Zhao Jianxiong, president of the university, and Jing Lin and Yu Xinran, the leaders of the university, accompanied the investigation.
Secretary Lei and his delegation inspected the construction of the playground, the swimming pool and the new area. President Zhao, on behalf of the Board of Directors and our university, welcomed Secretary Lei and his delegation, and thanked the Yongtai County Party Committee for its long-term concern and support for the development of our university. Zhao said that at present, the construction of its new campus was advancing rapidly, and the university-local integration was deepening. And that next, our university would continue to adhere to the demand orientation, continue to expand its scale, optimize its professional settings, deepen its open education, gather its intellectual resources, and strive to build a high-level, application-oriented and distinctive famous university in Southeast China.
Secretary Lei fully affirmed the role of our university in serving regional economic and social development based on the local education. Lei stressed that the county’s relevant departments should strengthen the implementation of responsibilities; focus on solving the problems such as the approval of education projects, land acquisition and demolition, and fund raising; try their best to get through the blocking points, difficulties, and pain points of project construction; and promote the early landing, commencement, and use of education projects. Lei emphasized that the university should base itself on its own characteristics, improve the radiation and attraction of education, truly run education well, make people satisfied with its education, and provide talent guarantee for building Yongtai into a modern green development pilot area.
The coming of Secretary Lei and his delegation to our university for investigation fully reflects the deep concern and ardent expectation of Yongtai County Party Committee for it. Our university will take this survey as an opportunity, with the care and support of the County Party Committee, to further scientific planning, safe construction and orderly progress, to ensure the high-quality completion of the planning and construction of its new area, and to promote the high-quality development of itself in an all-round way.
