A few days ago, the 7th (2022) National Industrial and Commercial Enterprise Management Skills Competition came to a successful conclusion. The three teams (whose instructors were Cai Wuwei and Wu Youzi), composed of Liu Shikai, You Qiupeng, Yang Yanping and others from School of Management of our university, competed with 155 universities in the country, such as Shihezi University, Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University and so on, in the finals, and finally stood out, having won 2 first prizes and 1 third prize. The number and level of awards ranked among the provincial undergraduate universities, and the first of the same kind of colleges and universities.

It is reported that 1,612 teams from more than 200 universities in 25 provinces and municipalities/autonomous regions of our country participated in the second round of the competition, and only 556 teams from 155 colleges and universities reached the final; the competition focused on the core skills of the business enterprise management specialty, such as market environment analysis, enterprise strategic decision-making, marketing decision-making, human resources decision-making, scientific and technological research and development decision-making, financial analysis and so on.
Our university has attached great importance to the integration of “teaching”, “training” and “competition”, and implemented the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people. The achievement of outstanding achievements fully demonstrates our students’ solid professional foundation and excellent practical ability. It will take this opportunity to continue to adhere to its management strategy of “building our university with characteristics, strengthening its quality, building it with culture”, and better implement the strategy of “promoting learning, teaching and innovation through competition”, so as to cultivate more high-quality applied talents for the development of the social and regional economy.
