FZTBU Invited to Participate in the 5th CCF China Blockchain Technology Conference
A few days ago, The 5th CCF China Blockchain Technology Conference 2022 was successfully held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Our FZTBU, as a high-quality university representative of the blockchain specialty, was invited to participate in the conference. At the opening ceremony, Si Xueming, director of the Blockchain Special Committee of the Chinese Computer Society, distinguished professor of our university and director of the Blockchain Joint Laboratory, served as a conference host and delivered a speech.

In recent years, our country has attached great importance to blockchain technology, taking blockchain as an important breakthrough for independent innovation of core technology. As the first and only university in Fujian Province that has been approved to set up the undergraduate program of “Blockchain Engineering”, our FZTBU has invited Professor Shi Xueming, director of the Blockchain Special Committee of the Chinese Computer Society and chief expert of the blockchain in Fuzhou City, as a chief scientist and director of the Blockchain Joint Laboratory, to strengthen the connection with the Fujian Provincial Blockchain Development Promotion Association, and to carry out extensive industry-university-research cooperation with the national high-tech enterprise, Fujian Fujion Technology Co., Ltd., build the Blockchain Engineering Joint Laboratory (Innovation Center) and Student Internship Training Base, etc., promote the construction of blockchain engineering specialty in various forms, actively adapt to the new needs and challenges of the new round of Scientific and Technological Revolution and industrial transformation on talent cultivation, actively serve the development of “Digital Fuzhou” and “Digital Fujian”, promote the construction of “new engineering”, and cultivate more application-oriented senior talents who play an innovative role in the blockchain field.

It is reported that this conference is of high specification and great significance. With the theme of “New Application, New Empowerment and New Ecology”, it focuses on the frontier innovation, development trend and international blockchain. One of its highlights is to invite many experts and scholars, industry leaders and enterprise elites to jointly discuss the new progress of blockchain technology, blockchain security and Web3, blockchain privacy protection and regulation, blockchain digital asset trading hot topics such as blockchain and cryptography, and talent cultivation in the blockchain field; further discuss the basic theory, key technologies and industrial applications of blockchain; promote the better empowerment of the digital economy of blockchain; and jointly build a new highland for the development of blockchain technology and industry.

By listening to the authoritative interpretation of experts and scholars on the training of blockchain talents and professional support during the meeting, and conducting in-depth study and discussion with experts after the meeting, Associate Professor Shi Jinghua, a principal of blockchain specialty of our participating teachers, said that he had a more profound and clear understanding of the key technologies, application scenarios, industry dynamics, blockchain talent training and other frontier development. Our university will draw on the essence of the conference, grasp the great opportunity of scientific and technological change, deeply promote the integrated development of industry and education, vigorously cultivate high-quality applied blockchain talents, apply innovation in the blockchain technology field, deeply empower digital transformation and upgrading, and contribute to the wisdom and strength of industry and commerce in the development of local digital economy.
