FZTBU’s Students Win Good Results Ranking First among the Universities in the Province!
Recently, the winners of the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition 2022 were announced. The team of students from our School of Finance and Economics, composed of Xie Yongqi, Ye Qingxi, Xiao Fangbin, and Huang Zirong (whose instructors were Zheng Lihui and Huang Lingjun), stood out in the high-level confrontation with many strong financial majors from our country’s top two universities and won the national first prize. Our university won the best organization award, and its total score ranked the first in the same category of awards gained by colleges and universities in Fujian Province.

It is reported that the BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition is an international competition approved by Preparatory Committee for the BRICS Summit 2017, filed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and approved by the BRICS Business Council. It has been presented to the top leaders of the BRICS countries as a result design in the Annual Report of the BRICS Business Council for five consecutive years. The big data financial and management accounting skills competition (undergraduate group) includes two competition links, namely Big Data Financial Processing and Management Accounting Skills, which fully test the comprehensive professional quality and innovation level of the players.
Our university has ever attached great importance to the integration of “teaching”, “training” and “competition”, implemented the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people, and focused on interdisciplinary coordination and innovation and creation. This outstanding achievement has fully demonstrated our students’ solid professional foundation and excellent practical ability.
