FZTBU Makes Great Achievement in Fujian College Student Moot Court Debate Contest

On March 12th, 2023, the 2nd “ZHONGYIN CUP” Fujian College Student Moot Court Debate Contest concluded successfully. The delegation (whose instructor was Xie Yilan) composed of the students Zhou Ying, Gao Xinyi, Chen Yulin, Huang Jingze, Zhang Jiayang, Zhang Xu, and Deng Canfeng from School of Humanities and Law, with their strict logic, complete legal knowledge, and fluent expression, competed with those from Xiamen University, Huaqiao University, Fuzhou University, Fujian Normal University, Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University and so on; stood out in the fierce competition; and won the third prize of the group with Fuzhou University at the same time, which ranked first in the province’s similar colleges and universities.
 
 

 
It is reported that the “ZHONGYIN CUP” Fujian College Student Moot Court Debate Contest is jointly sponsored by Fujian Higher People’s Court, Fujian Provincial People’s Procuratorate, and Fujian Provincial Department of Justice, which adopts the form of simulated real court trial, aiming to strengthen the exchange of teaching results of law majors in colleges and universities in Fujian, improve students’ social application ability, and promote cooperation and good interaction between the universities, locals and enterprises, in order to cultivate and select legal reserve talents to meet the needs of the social development.
 
Our university has attached great importance to the integration of “teaching”, “training” and “competition”, and implemented the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people. This outstanding achievement has fully demonstrated the solid professional foundation of our students. Our university will take this opportunity to continue to adhere to its motto of “Morality, Truth, Accumulation and Innovation”, better implement its policy of “promoting learning, teaching, and innovation by competitions”, introduce industry resources, strengthen practical teaching, and promote the development of an application-oriented education system that serves the needs of the social and economic development.
