Fruit Leaves Are All Over the Eyes and the Sun Moves the Heart—FZTBU’s Leaders Go to Wutong Town to Carry out Further Research on the Rural Revitalization
On March 14th, Executive Vice President Lin Liqun and Vice President Huang Bin of FZTBU and their men went to Wutong Town to carry out further research of the rural revitalization project.
The research team successively visited the joint construction of the “Six-One” Project of Rural Revitalization in Wutong Town, such as a home stay in Chunguangli, a talent post station, a famous wood and ancient tree museum in Chunguang Village, and a rural reception hall and RV Camp in Qiuyan Village, and proposed the university-local cooperation to further play a new chapter in rural revitalization with measures such as the Party building guidance, talent coeducation, and culture-tourism integration.
A discussion between our university and the local government
After the field survey, the leaders such as Zhang Yanfeng—secretary of the Party Committee of Wutong Town and Lin Changdong—mayor of the town held a discussion and exchange with our university’s research team. The two parties carried out in-depth communication around the implementation of a series of the rural revitalization projects, including the construction of talent stations, the new “three changes” of the rural joint-stock economic cooperatives (resources into assets, funds into shares, and farmers into shareholders), cultural and tourist industry, rural inclusive finance, beautiful rural construction, and e-commerce live broadcast; and both of them made a detailed deployment for further cooperation in the future.
In recent years, FZTBU has closely focused on the positioning of application-oriented local education, accurately positioned the root areas, and guided by the demands for high-quality application oriented talents from the regional socio-economic and modern industrial development. It has established a working mechanism of university-local linkage and collaborative promotion, always firmly serving the local development. This further research is based on the successful cooperation with Wutong Town in the early stage of rural revitalization. Our university and the local governments will further reach a deeper consensus, closely combining university education and teaching with rural revitalization, implementing the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people, deeply promoting “university-local cooperation”, strengthening digital empowerment, design empowerment and innovation empowerment through the university-local cooperation in order to jointly build a platform, provide a support for injecting strong momentum into rural revitalization and development, promote education and teaching reform, and strive to cultivate reliable successors and qualified builders of our socialism.
