Being United to Conquer Difficulties and Sprint with All Strength: FZTBU Holds a Mobilization Meeting for Qualification Assessment of Undergraduate Teaching Work
On the afternoon of March 28th, 2023, our university held a mobilization meeting for qualification assessment of its undergraduate teaching work in the auditorium of Comprehensive Building. Its leaders Jing Lin, Yu Xinran, Lin Liqun, Huang Bin, Zhang Lijun, Chen Qingyi, and Wang Rongguo attended the meeting with all faculties. The meeting was presided over by Yu Xinran, secretary of the University Party Committee.

△ FZTBU’s Party Secretary Yu Xinran presided over the meeting.At the meeting, Assistant Principal Wang Rongguo explained the main tasks for the next stage in detail, calling on the entire university to closely focus on the work objectives, accurately grasp the essence of the qualification assessment, understand the assessment indicators, grasp the correct working methods, work together to do a good job in all aspects of the assessment, and fully demonstrate the excellent university spirit, and its teaching and learning styles.

President Jing Lin signed letters of responsibility with the heads of secondary schools and functional departments, in order to improve the understanding of the entire university, clarify their work responsibilities, ensure that various work related to the qualification assessment and promotion of undergraduate teaching work would be implemented in place, and make positive contributions to successfully passing the qualification assessment.

Executive Vice President Lin Liqun delivered a mobilization speech under the theme of “Inspiring Spirit, Uniting Solidarity, and Striving to Meet the Assessment”. She required that all teachers and students in the university should fully understand the significance of qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work and effectively integrate their thoughts and actions into the overall deployment of the assessment work; that it was necessary to carefully study the implementation plan and indicator system for the qualification assessment, understand the connotation of indicators, clarify the division of responsibilities, develop a work schedule and roadmap, and orderly promote the implementation of various tasks; that it was necessary to establish a sense of opportunity, ownership, responsibility, overall situation and hardship, and comprehensively and meticulously evaluate various tasks; and that it was necessary to unite as one to gather the wisdom and the strength of the whole university, greet the official arrival of the expert group of Ministry of Education at an orderly working state and with a high spirit, and complete all the assessment work with high quality and at high level.

He pointed out that successfully passing the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work would be a tough battle that our school must win during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period; that it would be the ardent expectation of the competent department, the board of directors, and student parents for us, and it would be the sacred mission and common responsibility of the entire university’s cadres, teachers, and students; and that since the comprehensive launch of the work of welcoming assessment and promoting construction in our university, remarkable changes and achievements had been achieved in undergraduate teaching and other work. Jing emphasized that first we should unify our thinking, create an atmosphere, and meet the assessment in the best state; second, it was necessary to clarify ideas and tasks, and do practical and detailed work; third, it was necessary to strengthen leadership, assign responsibility to individuals, and enforce supervision and inspection; and fourth, it was necessary to go all out to eliminate hidden dangers and ensure the normal progress of the assessment and daily work. He also emphasized that we should further strengthen our confidence and determination, be brave in shouldering responsibilities, and be willing to work hard; that we should firmly establish a sense of ownership that “the school thrives and I am proud, and the university declines and I am ashamed.”; that we should firmly establish a sense of responsibility that “everyone is responsible for evaluating work,” a sense of urgency that “time is life,” and a sense of overall importance that “recognize the general situation and take care of the overall situation”; and that with high fighting spirit and enthusiasm, we should have a spirit of striving for success and a rigorous and realistic work style, strive to win the final victory in the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching work.
