On the afternoon of August 29^th, 2023, a group of 8 people who are DR. RENATO CARLOS H. ERMITA--president, National University, DR. MA. TERESITA P. MEDADO--president, NU Asia Pacific College, MR. ROLANDO T. AVERILLA--vice president, National University and so on visited our university to exchange ideas and work together to create a new chapter of friendship. President Jing Lin, Executive Vice President Lin Liqun, Vice President Wang Rongguo, and relevant functional department heads warmly welcomed the guests.

President Jing Lin extended a sincere welcome to the guests, introduced the history of our university and its international exchange and cooperation, and pointed out that cooperation in education and culture would be the link between colleges and universities under the framework of the “The Belt and Road Initiative”. He hoped to take this exchange as an opportunity to connect and learn from each other in terms of professional standards, curriculum standards, and high-quality teaching resources, and achieve the sharing of high-quality educational resources. The visiting representative expressed deep gratitude for the warm reception from our university, gave a detailed introduction to the disciplinary and professional characteristics and international exchanges of their respective schools, and expressed their desire to cooperate with our university in education. The attending representatives jointly discussed the model of international cooperative education, reached consensus on talent cultivation, teacher exchange, resource sharing, and other aspects, and promoted the continuous improvement of the connotation of cooperative education.

The exchange visit has broadened the depth and breadth of our educational cooperation and exchange with overseas universities, provided high-quality services for the “the Belt and Road Initiative” construction, given full play to the professional characteristics and school running advantages, and at the same time, forged a new chapter for further promoting the connotative development of our university and taken a new step of internationalization.
