FZTBU’s Teacher Achieves Excellent Result in the Selection of Gold Courses for Ideological and Political Education in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Schools in Fujian
The selection results of the gold course for ideological and political education in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools in Fujian Province, organized by Education Working Committee of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, have been announced. Chen Qinrui, teacher of School of Marxism, FZTBU, applied for the “New Interpretation of Patriotism in the New Era” and won the third prize in Course Group of “Ideology, Morality, and Rule of Law”.
According to the Notice of the Education Working Committee of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China on Carrying out the Selection and Construction of Gold Courses for Ideological and Political Education in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Schools and the Exhibition of Ideological and Political Education Teaching Activities (Min Wei Jiao Si [2023] No.3), after the schools’ recommendation, experts’ evaluation, conference discussion, online publicity and other procedures, the Education Working Committee of the Fujian Provincial Committee has determined 300 gold courses for ideological and political education in primary, secondary and tertiary schools, which will be approved as the fourth batch of high-quality education and teaching reform projects for “Telling the Story of China Well and Offering Excellent Ideological and Political Courses”.
This selection adheres to using the ideology of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the Xi Jinping’s New Era to cultivate students, further promoting the integration of the ideology into textbooks, classrooms, and minds, further advancing the “1+N” construction of the Marxist college pilot plan, taking the construction of ideological and political courses in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools as an opportunity, deepening the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory courses, and strengthening the integration of ideological and political courses in different-level schools.
All along, our School of Marxism has adhered to the original mission of educating people for the Party and our country, emphasizing the key role of ideological and political courses in implementing the fundamental task of moral education, continuously promoting the reform of ideological and political course teaching. On the basis of building a “’3×3’ Matrix Education Model”, “Four Classroom Linkage Teaching Model”, and the integrated construction of ideological and political courses in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools, its teachers continuously explore and enrich the content of ideological and political course teaching, and deeply promote and coordinate the reform and innovation of ideological and political course teaching to meet the needs of new situation development. This award is another outstanding achievement of our university’s continuous promotion of integrity and innovation in ideological and political courses.
