In the national finals of Enterprise Operation Simulation Competition of China University Student Engineering Practice and Innovation Ability Contest, a team composed of students from our university Liu Ronghui, Zhang Xinyang, Zhu Xiaohua, and Liao Xin (whose mentors were Yang Guixing and Lu Zhenxing), performed well and stood out in the provincial competition, successfully advancing to the national competition and ultimately winning the silver medal.
It is reported that the contest is hosted by Engineering Training and Teaching Guidance Committee under Ministry of Education for Higher Education Institutions. It is the largest- and highest-level contest in the category of engineering innovation practice in China, and belongs to the A-class discipline contest under Ministry of Education. It is one of the most influential national-level college student science and technology innovation contest. The enterprise operation simulation competition focuses on themes such as “integration of industry and education”, “integration of business and industry”, and “digital economy”, and implements the construction of new engineering disciplines and the cultivation of interdisciplinary comprehensive abilities. It will promote the deep integration of information technology and experimental teaching, push forward interdisciplinary integration, enhance the quality of experimental teaching and practical education level, achieve the sharing of teaching resources, comprehensively enforce the practical hands-on ability, innovation ability, and entrepreneurial ability of college students, and improve the quality of talent cultivation.
The 6th “Longing for Beautiful China” Art and Design Competition and the 9th “Jinpu Cup” International Urban Landscape Design Competition
In the 6th “Longing for Beautiful China” Art and Design Competition and the National Finals of the 9th “Jinpu Cup” International Urban Landscape Design Competition, our students’ works stood out among 8,511 ones from universities across our country, and won 1 gold, 4 bronze, 1 silver, and 11 excellent awards, ranking among the top in similar universities in Fujian Province.
It is reported that this competition has attracted more than 1.200 designers, scholars, and industry experts from all over our country to participate. 8,511 submissions from 575 universities and institutions both domestically and internationally, covering 8 areas including landscape design, interior space design, graphic design, public art, product design, film and television photography, fashion design, and “Rhythm • Children Friendly City Design”.
The 8th National Industrial and Commercial Enterprise Management Skills Competition 2023
In the 8th National Business Enterprise Management Skills Competition 2023, a team composed of Qiu Peiyong, Ma Shirui, and Lin Yang (whose mentors were Wang Yeye and Li Fan) from School of Management, FZTBU, who are majoring in Human Resource Management, bravely reached the peak and won the national special prize in the human resource decision-making track.
The competition attracted participants from 134 universities of 26 provinces and cities across our country, including 326 teams from 77 colleges and universities participating in the human resources track. This is our university’s first time competing in the human resources track, which adopts the hrbizsim human resources decision-making simulation platform. All teams simulate the actual enterprise to formulate human resources planning, recruitment configuration, salary design, training management, performance management, financial management, and operational management decisions, comprehensively examining the professional knowledge and application ability of participants.
Fujian BIM Digital Engineering Skills Innovation Competition 2023
In the Fujian BIM Digital Engineering Skills Innovation Competition 2023, a team composed of the students from School of Urban Construction, FZTBU, Huang Canhuang, Chen Jiayu, and Wang Xinyi (whose mentors were Wang Yuning and Xie Xinyong), majoring in engineering cost, won the second prize in the undergraduate group.
The BIM Digital Engineering Skills Innovation Competition aims to promote students to use international mainstream BIM modeling tools to create BIM models, and use the built BIM models to perform operations that are different from traditional 3D calculations, complete BIM engineering quantity calculations, and then combine with the Chenxi’s BIM control platform to complete engineering project management related operations, cultivating students’ innovative application abilities in full process consulting and management.
Our university has always attached great importance to the integration of “teaching”, “practical training”, and “competition”, implementing the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, and focusing on using competitions as a starting point to implement the work concept of “promoting teaching, learning, and practicing through competitions”. This achievement of excellent grades not only reflects the superb educational and teaching level of our university teachers, but also fully demonstrates the excellent professional practical ability of its students.
