A Case Study of the Party Committee Work of School of Art and Design Selected as a Typical Case of Party Building Work in National Private Universities

Recently, under the guidance of the Department of Ideological and Political Affairs of Ministry of Education and edited by the Party Building Special Committee, the Selected Typical Cases of Party Building Work in Private Universities was compiled, printed into a book, and distributed as official meeting materials to all representatives for learning and reference at the recently held National Conference on Party Building Work in Private Universities. It has been highly recognized and praised by the leaders of the Central Organization Department and Ministry of Education. The Party Committee of our School of Art and Design has selected Creating a “7+5” Student Party Member Backbone Cultivation Mechanism and Creating a New Platform for “One Lesson and Four Bodies” as a typical case of Party building work in private universities across the country.
 
 
In order to deepen the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the Xi Jinping’s New Era, continuously summarize the achievements and experiences of party building and ideological and political work in private universities, promote the innovative development of the Party building and ideological and political work in private universities, and implement the “Five Major Projects” of our university Party building, the Party Committee of our School of Art and Design, through continuous exploration and innovation, identifies the development points for its student Party members and backbone training, actively exploring the development mechanism of student Party members, constructing a new “3+3+1” Party member development mechanism, and ensuring the quality of student “dual training”, Promote the “Five Ones” project to ensure the effectiveness of student “dual training”; build a new platform for “One Lesson and Four Bodies” to ensure that students have a deep understanding of “dual training”.

Since its establishment, our university has always attached great importance to the Party building and ideological and political work, adhered to the Party’s educational policy, conscientiously studied the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the Xi Jinping’s New Era, implemented the deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee’s Education Work Committee, regarded the effectiveness of moral education as a fundamental standard for testing all work of the university, always kept in mind the scientific judgment of “making Party building the basic skill of running the school”, created a “university Party building and ideological and political work theme museum” around the requirements of its high-quality development and its actual situation, further organized and strengthened the “Four in One” organizational system, and comprehensively and deeply implemented the “Three Guidance” project around the central work, and promoted the “Five Major Projects” with the construction of the “Four in One” campus as a starting point. Exploring the formation of “3×3” Matrix-styled Ideological and Political Education Model, established a collaborative education mechanism, and made every effort to cultivate socialist builders and successors with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, providing strong ideological support and organizational guarantee for promoting the high-quality development of the school cause.
