FZTBU’s Teachers and Students Achieve Excellent Results in Provincial-level Competition of Landscape Architecture Planning and Design for College Students
Our university’s teachers and students received good news in the Fujian Provincial Competition of Landscape Planning and Design for College Students. The participating team, composed of teachers and students from School of Urban Construction, stood out in competition with many well-known universities such as Fuzhou University, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Huaqiao University, and Fujian University of Science and Technology, and won 5 awards, of which 2 are silver awards, 1 bronze award, and 2 excellent awards.

It is reported that 83 design teams from 11 universities in the province have signed up for this competition, whose theme is of “Landscape Architecture and Rural Revitalization”. Based on but not limited to rural landscape construction models, characteristic space research, sustainable development, information technology, biodiversity protection, etc., it reflects the value orientation and composite role of landscape architecture in rural revitalization strategic planning.
Throughout the years, our university has adhered to the spirit of “Morality, Truth, Accumulation and Innovation”, implemented the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, and also to the principle of “promoting teaching, learning, reform, and construction through competitions”. With the dual improvement of teaching and training quality, it has solidified the foundation of high-quality development. Our university will take this as an opportunity to fully leverage the role of competition services in education and talent cultivation, enhance students’ professional knowledge to contribute to the strategic planning of rural revitalization, and cultivate more high-quality applied talents for the regional economic and the social development.
