FZTBU Launches Training Classes for New Teachers to Deepen Their Teaching Quality and Professional Competence

Learning is to empower education, and we practice diligently without neglecting. Recently, our university organized pre-job training for new teachers in the spring semester of 2024, aiming to deepen the teaching quality and professional competence of new teachers, help them find their growth direction and goals, and illuminate their career path. This training invited heads of departments such as Division of Teaching Affairs, Human Resources Office, Division of Quality Evaluation, and Division of Scientific Research, as well as outstanding teachers who won awards in Fujian Provincial Annual Teacher Teaching Competition, to draw a training map for newly hired teachers in aspects such as “Standardizing the Promotion of Teaching Quality”, “Ten Guidelines for Professional Behavior of University Teachers in the New Era”, “Research Path and Course Question Application”, “Focusing on Teaching Design, Building an Efficient Classroom”, “Teaching Art--Content Introduction and New Course Teaching Techniques”, providing guidance for their career development.
 
 
During the training period, new teachers visited the University History Museum, Moral Education Classroom, Ideological and Political Classroom, and Cultural Corridor. The teachers at the University History Museum learned about its educational process and cultural heritage from old photos and objects. As the scroll of “The Eternal Flow of the Min River” slowly unfolds, Fujian education masters and famous sayings spanning over 2,000 years of historical time and space have once again infiltrated the professional ethics and educational sentiment of new teachers.
 
 
This new teacher training has not only enhanced the teaching level and professional skills of new teachers, but also injected new impetus and vitality into their future educational work. We believe that in future education work, they will write a new chapter of outstanding education with more enthusiasm and professional competence.
