FZTBU’s Students Achieve Excellent Results in the National College Digital Art Design Competition
Recently, good news came from the national finals of the 12th Future Designer—National College Digital Art Design Competition (NCDA) 2024. Our teachers and students have achieved outstanding results with outstanding professional skills and innovative spirit. Of them, Liu Feng's work Suffering (supervised by Guo Danjin) from School of Art and Design won the first prize in the country; the works of Lin Luo, Lin Ruoying, and Lin Fan from School of Art and Design, titled Ancient Calculation, Contemporary Rhyme, Radiant Circle (supervised by Lin Ting), and of Li Yihong from School of Urban Construction, titled Pre-Shop Sequence (supervised by Chen Rong), won the third prize nationwide.
The Future Designer—National College Digital Art Design Competition (NCDA) is a national-level college student competition that has been selected for the National General College Subject Competition Ranking List, recognized by the Chinese Higher Education Association under Ministry of Education, approved by 15 provincial education departments, and supported by the “Study Strong Country” Learning Platform. A total of 1,891 universities participated in this competition, receiving 298,763 entries. The participation rate of 985 and first-class universities reached 95.2% and 100% of universities rated C- or above in the design discipline participated. The entries have gone through multiple rounds of competition, including university-campus-level competitions, qualification competitions, provincial preliminary competitions, provincial finals, and national finals, resulting in award-winning entries for both provincial and national competitions.
Our awards fully demonstrate FZTBU’s teaching achievements and innovative strength in the field of digital art and design. Throughout, our university has adhered to the concept of “promoting learning, teaching, and innovation through competitions”, and it is committed to providing its students with a good learning environment and development platform through continuous optimization of the curriculum system, strengthening practical teaching links, and other measures, cultivating high-quality applied talents with practical ability and innovative spirit.
