As one of the organizers, FZTBU fully leveraged its own advantages and actively participated in the preparation and organization of activities, demonstrating its deep exploration and responsibility in the field of rural cultural tourism. As an applied undergraduate university, FZTBU focused on national strategic needs, with discipline and major construction as a core engine, to build a characteristic education system that served local development. Approved as a master’s degree granting unit cultivation project in 2025, the discipline of “Landscape Architecture” has been established as a key cultivation discipline; the tourism management major is a provincial-level first-class professional construction point and a provincial-level service industry characteristic major, building a “FZTBU Paradigm” of “university- local integration, industry-university integration, and science-university integration” to promote economic and social development. Our university will continue to explore cutting-edge areas such as innovation in rural cultural and tourism formats, establishment of cross-strait cultural and tourism exchange platforms, and digital inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, contributing to the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas through cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation between the two regions.
